Christmas is all about giving and generosity, and we arranged Christmas Hampers again this year. Hampers can include items such as longlife milk, milo, vegetables, pork, chicken, fruit, rice, and/or a toy for young children.

Celebrations for this time of the year have been very special for our families & colleagues. Barili families came together in the Barangay of Campaggna. Lots of laughter & fun as well as some quiet time to pray for their country, each family & their sponsor.

As always there was acknowledgment of the connection between the Philippines & Australia singing both National Anthems. Then began the distribution of Christmas Hampers/Bundles of Joy, sharing of food within each community, games, dance competitions for the mothers, exchanging of fruit and/or vegetables between mothers & an ice cream for each child – for most the only one for the year.

Sincere thanks to all who made all this happen – great joy & gratitude was expressed by all recipients.
