On April 17^th, 2024, the President & Co founder of Kadasig Aid & Development, Glenys Gayfer, was granted an Order of Australia (OAM) for her voluntary work. The Order of Australia is an Australian honor that recognises people for their achievements and service.

This was awarded to Glenys for her commitment to inter-country adoption for over 20 years, particularly with the Philippines, liaising with government agencies both here in Australia & overseas. Additionally, this award is for her work establishing programs for children & women through educational sponsorship, livelihood & income generating programs, medical care and a Friendship School program where our primary schools fundraise for their friends in very poor schools in Barili, Cebu.
